Calling all wild Florida photographers, our 2026 Florida Wildlife Corridor Photo Contest is here!

This year’s photo categories include:

Rare & Threatened – Photos of the wildlife, plants, and habitats that make the Florida Wildlife Corridor globally significant. This category highlights the species and landscapes that are rare, threatened, or uniquely tied to Florida’s natural heritage and the ongoing efforts to protect them.

Small But Significant – Photos of the wildlife, plants, textures, and tiny details that are often overlooked in Florida’s natural landscapes. This category shines light on the small wonders and subtle moments that make the Florida Wildlife Corridor extraordinary.

Old Florida – Photos that capture the timeless spirit and nostalgia of Old Florida. Think cowboys, cattle, citrus groves, working lands, historic landmarks, rural landscapes, and people connecting with the land. This category celebrates the traditions and heritage that shape Florida’s identity. Film photography is encouraged. Both vintage photography and digital film emulations are accepted.

Color In The Corridor – Photos that showcase the vibrant colors found naturally in the Florida Wildlife Corridor. Think colorful wildlife, dramatic skies, blooming wildflowers, breeding plumage, and stunning sunsets. This category focuses on vivid natural scenes that capture the beauty found in the Florida Wildlife Corridor.

Photo Contest Rules: 

All photos MUST be taken in Florida. 

Entry to the photo contest is free. Participants may submit up to 3 photos in each category, for a total of 12 submissions per person.

Each photo submission MUST be unique. Do NOT submit the same photo for multiple categories. 

Photos that are heavily manipulated, composited, or created using AI tools will NOT be accepted.  

Photos with watermarks, signatures, or superimposed logos will NOT be accepted.  

Photos submitted to previous Florida Wildlife Corridor Photo Contests may NOT be resubmitted. 

Basic photo editing is allowed, including adjustments to color, white balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, sharpness, cropping, noise reduction, dodging and burning, masking, curves, and lighting levels. 

Use of HDR (High Dynamic Range), where multiple exposures of the same scene are combined for a greater tonal range, focus stacking multiple exposures for extended depth of field, and long exposure photography are accepted. 

Submitted files MUST be in .jpg, .png, or .tif format. 

Files MUST be larger than 3mb. Minimum pixel ratio MUST be at least 1,000 x 1,000. Larger files are preferred. 

Deadline to submit photos is Tuesday, June 30th at midnight. Entry to the photo contest is free. Participants may submit up to 3 photos in each category, for a total of 12 submissions per person.

Photo Contest Prizes: 

1^st Place in each category – $200 B&H Photo Gift Card & Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation Swag Bag

2^nd Place in each category – Florida State Parks Individual Annual Pass & Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation Swag Bag

3^rd Place in each category – Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation Swag Bag

How To Submit: 

Download, fill out, and submit the Photography Release Form on the submission page.

Please note that you must submit a photo release form to be considered. Participants under 18 must get parent/guardian signature. 

Please upload ONE photo at a time to the submission links.

Reminder that only 3 photo submissions are allowed per category, up to a total of 12 photo submissions per participant. 

Deadline to submit photos is Tuesday, June 30th at midnight.
